We were recently appointed by Whitemore & Thwaytes to assist in the renovation of this stunning existing farmhouse in the heart of the Lake District. With picturesque views and stunning character, this property boasts expansive interior space with beautiful rustic features creating a finished look which combines both classic and contemporary elements.

We began by completing the ground floor, starting with The Library Room in bespoke Whitestone Weavers Traditional Tartan. This carpet was aligned perfectly and distinctively around the feature wall fireplace and has left a striking finish. The colour chosen was Glen Isla, a perfect mix of dark grey, white and noir. Continuing into the ground floor Media Room, we laid Jacaranda Chamba, in the shade Steel Grey. This carpet was woven using the highest quality un-dyed New Zealand wool for a durable and classic finish.

The next generous area of the house was completed in ITC Connoisseur Collection, colour Melbourne. This was fitted throughout vast areas starting with the Stairs, Link Bridge, Gallery and Mezzanine.  This durable heavy domestic carpet is hand woven and created using only 100% wool. These particular areas stand out as some of the most spectacular in throughout the house.

Finally, the Guest Bedroom and Lobby were renovated using Brintons Timorous Beasties Collection in the colour Midnight Grain Du Bouis. This 80% wool wood effect carpet has left an unforgettable statement.

Bespoke oak door trims were also fitted, to compliment the rustic oak beams and doors which stand throughout the property. On completion of the work, our expert fitters have taken a few initial photos however there will be an official case study to follow with more intricate shots of the rooms listed above and an additional three master bedrooms.
