Earlier this month, we had the opportunity to work a beautiful property in the Lake District for a private client who wanted to achieve a quirky and retro pattern using the Amtico Signature range, in a 1920’s Art Decor design.

To begin the process, our expert floor layers fitted an under floor heating mat, with a layer of screed over the top to ensure smoothness and to act as a bonding agent for the glue to adhere to, prior to fitting the Amtico tiles. The tile effect was achieved using three contrasting colours. Glint Orb– a pure white tile with touches of silver which reflect light from the floor and embellishes its surroundings. Complimented by Helsinki, a translucent turquoise with depth, adding sophistication to the overall look; and Rio, a carnival red leaving a bold yet subtle statement.
