With the Lake District at its heart, it was essential for the flooring to tie the natural, cosy scheme together in this superb traditional barn conversion. Birkwray Barn is a holiday let where memories can be made with all the family.

Set in the outskirts of Ambleside, Birkwray Barn is nestled down a private driveway, surrounded by unprecedented views of the Lakeland fells. The clients purchased the property to turn it into luxury self-catering home. Birkwray Barn is a truly stunning representation of what can be created when local craftsmanship and tremendous interior design come together. Judy of Form Interior led the design and enlisted Kendal Quality Carpets to supply and install the flooring. As a self-catering property durability was as important as style and practicality. Our in house design support team worked with Judy from Form Interior and chose Amtico Spacia wide plank in Sun Bleached Oak. A durable yet stylish flooring for bathrooms and the utility. For living, communal and bedrooms a natural loop carpet in a complimentary shade was installed.
