Falls SPA, Lodore Falls

Set in the idyllic Borrowdale valley, is the renowned Lodore Falls Hotel, is one of seven hotels within the Lake District Hotels group.

In recent years we have worked closely with the group to supply & install bespoke carpet throughout the hotel bedrooms, dining rooms and relaxation areas. Our largest project to date with the group, fronted by owner Kit Graves and in house interior designer Mike Fac, was the refurbishment of the stunning Lodore Falls Hotel. Here we installed a bespoke Wilton carpet featuring a design to emulate the incredible stone walls of the Lake District.

Adding to their already superb offering Kit and her team enlisted an extension to be built across the river from the Lodore Falls to house a state of the art spa alongside 14 luxury bedrooms. We were thrilled to be brought on board to provide flooring for the bedrooms including their individual living areas.

The spa provides a truly unique experience, featuring a state of the art Finnish sauna, heated relaxation loungers and a 16 metre hydro pool with an amazing overflow hot tub. All of which overlook Derwentwater and the spectacular surrounding fells.

Every one of the 14 bedrooms is different; some have their own living areas or balconies, each providing a unique aspect aiming to draw guests back to visit again and again to try out another incredible room. We have installed a bespoke Wilton carpet in the communal areas which works perfectly with the colour scheme flowing through to the suites. An adaptation of the carpet which we used in the hotel, featuring the Lakeland stone wall effect, has been used in the bedrooms. Within the spa itself is an incredible relaxation room where we have installed a carpet from Lano, its comfort underfoot is remarkable!
