Crucial Trading were founded by David and Janet Green in 1986 in London. In 1987, Crucial trading went on to start retailing rugs, now offering over 100 different floor coverings. They manufacture many different rugs, in many different materials. The materials include wool, sisal, sisool, coir, seagrass and jute. Crucial Trading were the first in the UK to create the new trend of sisool, a combination of tactile sisal and soft wool as a new blend of floor covering.
