Jacaranda was founded in 2003 by Richard Meager and then later joined officially by his wife, Lucy. The name Jacaranda comes from the type of trees that grew near Richard’s childhood home in Cape Town. In 2009, Jacaranda started to export to Paris, the first place outside the UK. Jacaranda specialise in hand woven, hand knotting and hand tufted rugs.
