Nestled into the rolling hills where Beatrix Potter once wandered, High Cunsey Farm is a genuine Lake District retreat. Farmhouses are notoriously dark, lacking natural light due to their structure. Therefore when Whitemore & Thwaytes were brought in to create a concept for the project, light, was at the very heart of it. As a self-catering property practical, yet quality, carpet was required for longevity. When visiting our showroom with fabrics it soon became clear that Riviera was an ideal choice, using their Burford & Tetbury range in complimentary colours.
Today, as you walk through High Cunsey you notice how the rooms are flooded with natural light creating a fresh atmosphere whilst retaining all of its character. The light, yet practical carpets bounce the natural light up to the stunning colours of the furnishings and fittings.
